Who are we?
When we use the terms ‘we or us’ in our Privacy Policy we are referring to Signature Motorhomes Limited and Signature RV.

Information we hold:
We hold various details on our systems including Information that is provided to us by you, for example name, address, DOB, telephone numbers, email addresses, bank details including card details and vehicle and identification details.
Also information on products and services we have assisted you or offered you, including dates and amounts.
If we assist you with Finance services then we may be required to also take details such as employment information, financial statements, photocopies of identification, also included insurance, criminal, medical details. Also any other details requested by our finance providers.
We may at times also hold information related to your dealings with us from third party associated companies such as Thor Motorcoach, Finance houses, DVLA, Insurance Companies along with any information that is publicly available.

How your Information is used:
We use the information given to us to;
Make our services accessible to you
Process your enquiries and orders
Process payments and refunds
Assist with any queries or questions you may have
Ensure recall on vehicles are passed to you when relevant
Distribute our Newsletter
Continue our relationship with you.

Who we share information with:
Any third party company in order to assist with your purchase, order or query.
Manufacturers of Vehicles and Supplier of parts for those Vehicles.
Finance Houses to assist with any purchase including finance quotes and documentation.
Work alongside suppliers, insurers agencies that may at times process personal data but we take every care to ensure they meet appropriate measures.
We by law, under a code of practice, if asked are bound to supply details to Police, Department of Work and Pensions and any other such entities.

Please Note:
Sharing of data on V5 Log book to customers to add their details….. DVLA collect data because it is law, passing a V5 to a new customer is therefore compatible with the process needed for that vehicle to change owners of which the original data was collected. Also note that Any paperwork taken with a vehicle may therefore be shown to any potential customer.”

International transfer of Information:
There may be a time or reason to transfer your details outside of the EEA. This would only be to our Manufacturers or Suppliers that are relevant to your vehicle or concern. Your personal information will continue to be our upmost concern and we will seek a contract that is approved by regulators such as the ‘US PRIVACY SHIELD’.

What Information we may send you:
Occasional your details will be used to contact you via telephone or email to advise you of recalls, products or services that we think would be of value to you. We may also send you our mailing of news and events, this has an opt out button if you wish not to receive this Newsletter. Your Rights:
A subject Access Request is available should you wish to access the personal information we store. Proof of Identification will be requested and any interactions we may have had with you, so we can access your details. Any incorrect details can be amended.

How long information is kept for?
We always retain a record of your information along with Vehicle details. This is done so we can provide a service and continued relationship. Our business is specialised and unique therefore we are one of a few companies dealing in American Motorhomes. We always retain information with the law and regulations.

We will take every opportunity to safe guard your information by:
Being aware of who enters our premises,
Implementing a ‘clear desk‘ policy
Implementing access controls with passwords for our systems.
Lockable Filing cabinets, offices and computers.
