THOR Industries Inc. today (Dec. 21) announced the acquisition of Tiffin Motorhomes Inc. and related companies for $300 million, funded with a combination of available cash and a draw on the company’s existing asset-based credit facility. The purchase agreement was executed and effective at the close of business on Dec. 18, according to a company release. Tiffin Group LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of THOR, will own the Tiffin Group, which will continue to be managed by the Tiffin family and existing senior management team.

The new Ford F53 chassis is a huge improvement compared to the previous model chassis.  After personally driving a THOR ACE 32.3 bunkhouse on the new chassis and old you can tell the difference, the old chassis is by no means a bad chassis it just felt a little loose in windy conditions and at higher speeds, whilst this all new 2023 chassis feels tight and precise, you can sit happily at 65-70mph with out worrying. The reason this is better is due to the new handling pack installed at the factory this includes, new sway bars, new shock absorbers and thicker torsion bars. What also helps this motorhome handle is the engine, the new V8 is smaller in size which means its sits lower in the chassis giving better weight distribution. Former Le Mans winner and 2013 WEC Champion Martin Plowman is pleased to announce his latest sponsorship partnership with premium RV supplier Signature Motorhomes in a deal that will see the Tamworth-based driver carry their logo on his helmet as well as on his social media and website.

One of our customers who picked up his new Vegas 25.2 has now completed his trip in the USA & Canada and his vehicle has been shipped by Signature and has arrived in our base in Wolverhampton were it will now undergo  an IVA and electrical conversion before he continues his journey throughout Europe. Whilst out in the USA & Canada for a period of 12 months he thoroughly enjoyed himself visiting sates all over both countries and said he would recommend the trip to anyone.
